As an Anglican church, we believe that that baptism marks our participation in Jesus’ life, death, and resurrection, with the church, to serve the world.
The baptism service celebrates with those who seek to make a public profession of faith for themselves or on behalf of their children, reminds those who previously have been baptized of their own baptism, and recommits our support of each other as we live faith personally within community.
Children of believing parents may be baptised. Their parents and god-parents are asked to make promises on their behalf, and to bring them up in the faith of the church. When they are old enough, they are encouraged to re-affirm these promises for themselves, through the service of Confirmation.
Those who are in the process of discerning whether or not baptism is the next step in their faith journey must participate in one-to-one baptism classes with the Minister.
Please contact our minister to discuss this with him.
