Who we are

St Alban’s is an Anglican church in the evangelical tradition.

St Alban’s church is a diverse community of older and younger adults, children, individuals and families who meet together to make, mature and mobilise disciples of Jesus Christ in keeping with our vision of “Reaching out, building up and sending out, all for the glory of God.”

We are blessed with a beautiful heritage building, lovely grounds and a convenient location. But St Alban’s is not primarily a building or a place, but a bunch of people God has called together through his Son, Jesus Christ. People of all ages, nationalities and situations in life are welcome.

We meet week by week on a Sunday to worship together, to hear God’s word read and taught, and to encourage one another. During the week we have a variety of ministries and activities including one-to-one bible reading, prayer groups, small groups and youth group.

Our vision is to reach out to the community around us, build each other up in our faith, and send godly people out into the world to share the good news about Jesus and God’s kingdom, all to the glory of God.

All are welcome – seekers, questioners, skeptics, followers and believers.
