Morning service at 9.30
The 9.30 service at St Alban’s is an informal style Anglican service.
Our 9:30am Sunday service is a contemporary all-ages service where we sing, listen to the Bible read and taught, pray and enjoy one another’s fellowship. This family-oriented service has a mix of modern and traditional elements. Our singing of contemporary and some classic Christian songs is generally led by our band.
Each Sunday we aim for biblical, engaging and practical sermons, thankful praise and real prayer to God.
During term time we have crèche while primary school-aged children leave the church prior to the sermon and prayers for their own instruction and fellowship at Kidszone. They return at the end of the service, or earlier when there is communion.
We expect to engage with God in his word, so we read and preach through the Bible. We encourage people to participate in the service in different ways, exercising the various gifts, services and workings given by our One Lord and God through his Spirit (1 Cor 12:4-6). After church there is an opportunity for people to be prayed for by our ministry teams. Morning tea in the hall after the service provides an opportunity to meet and enjoy fellowship with others. Everyone is welcome.
