Privacy Policy

When you contact St Alban’s and you’re not a parishioner, we’ll only use your information to communicate with you and answer your enquiry.

How your information will be used

Your information will only be used to communicate with you regarding your enquiry.

How your information will be stored

We may store your information in our email archives and administrative systems so we can contact you regarding your enquiry.

If you’re a congregation member of St Alban’s, we’ll store and use your information to communicate with you, plan the activities of St Alban’s, and provide your details to other parishioners if you want to make them available.

Providing us your details

We count you as a parishioner of St Alban’s when you voluntarily confirm you’d like us to keep your details on record. This would usually be done either by filling out a form (online or paper), or by talking to one of our staff (on the phone or in person).

You can also provide us your information by updating it yourself via your own login to the church database.

How your information will be used

  • To communicate with you.

  • To plan groups, ministries, and other activities of St Alban’s.

  • To publish a list of names and contact details (the Parish Directory).

    • The Directory will be distributed electronically or in hard copy only to those who are listed in the Directory. The Directory will not be made available to others by St Alban’s.

    • You can opt in or out of the Parish Directory.

  • To provide birthday and anniversary information to other parishioners to celebrate the birthdays and anniversaries of parishioners.

  • Some information will be sent to the Diocese of Perth as required by statues of governance for people who hold a position or license with the Diocese (e.g. Pastoral Assistants, Parish Councillors).

How your information will be stored

Up to date records are kept on the church database. The full database is accessible by staff members only. Other leaders are given access to portions of the data as required for planning their ministries.

We may also store your information in our email archives and administrative systems so we can contact you about any enquiries you make.

We will not disclose your information to anyone outside of St Alban’s without your consent.
