Wedding Information Pack
1. Check the date.
To check if the church is available on a certain date, contact Shona at the office.
Weddings on Saturday must be finished by 3.30 pm.
We do not normally book weddings on Sundays.
2. See the building
To arrange to see the building, come during office hours and we can show you around. Call the office ahead of time to confirm one of our staff will be there. If you can’t make it during office hours, come to a Sunday service.
3. Come to a Sunday service.
If you’d like to go ahead with booking in a wedding, contact Shona at the office to find a Sunday when you can come along to the Sunday service and meet afterwards with Marc, our Senior Minister.
4. Come to wedding preparation.
Over several weeks, Marc will meet with you to prepare for the wedding and for married life.
General information

The church can comfortably seat 200.
For larger numbers more seating can be brought in with notice.
The Church Hall can accommodate:
80 for seated meal functions
200 (standing) for finger food functions

Required:
Use of church building and minister $1,200 (a deposit of $600 to secure the booking)
Bond $500 to ensure the facilities are returned to how they were found. Please ensure if anything has been moved will be replaced back to its original position and place.
Required if using St Alban’s personnel; no charge if you supply your own person (they need experience with professional sound systems):
Sound desk operator $150
Optional:
Use of live-streaming cameras $100
Use of church hall $100
Use of kitchen (oven/stove, crockery and cutlery) $100

Weddings at St Alban’s are conducted by our Senior Minister, Marc. If you would like to have a different minister celebrate your wedding (must be an Anglican minister), contact the office to discuss this with Marc.

Weddings at St Alban’s are done according to the Anglican wedding service.
You may choose from one of the below services, no alternations pr additions can be made.

The church is made available for rehearsal normally on the Thursday immediately before Saturday weddings, from 5pm till 8pm.

Please have your photographer and/or videographer contact our Senior Minister, Marc in the week leading up to the wedding or prior, to confirm guidelines on where they can go and other details.

Audio Visual systems
The church has:
A sound system capable of accommodating live performance and recorded music
Projectors for visuals
Live-streaming cameras
We can send you more details of these systems once you’ve confirmed your wedding.
Hall
The hall has tables and chairs that are available for use. It does have a portable sound system if requested. The kitchen has cooking utensils and crockery available for use for an extra charge.

You can decorate the church for your wedding. If you want to hang anything, contact the office first to get permission. Floral arrangements using foam must be removed from the premises and floral design work using floral foam is not to occur onsite.
Furniture and furnishings inside the church are not to be moved.
Contact the office to see when you or any external vendors might be able to access the church to set up. We will need to arrange it around other bookings that might be happening at St Alban’s.
