Kids

St Alban’s Kids

In our normal services, St Alban’s Kids runs every Sunday during Term time. Kids join together with others in their age range, with teachers from St Alban’s. They’ll hear from the Bible, do fun activities together, and grow in their knowledge of God.

St Alban’s Kids is for kids in Pre-Primary to Year 5.

All-together services

During school holidays, the kids stay in the service, with activities to do to help them engage with what’s going on. We want kids to be in the service with us regularly, so they can learn what it’s like to be a church all-together.

At St Alban’s Kids we want to partner together with the whole church to bring kids up to know and love Jesus as their Saviour and King. We do this through faithfully and creatively teaching kids the Bible in age-appropriate ways so they can engage, understand and apply it to their lives.

Youth

Younger Youth

In our normal services, a youth bible study runs every Sunday during term time. During the sermon, youth between years 6-9 meet to study the bible together.

Older Youth

Older youth are welcome to remain in the service for its entirety.

At St Alban’s Youth we want to partner together with the whole church to bring youth up to know and love Jesus as their Saviour and King. We do this through faithfully and creatively teaching our youth the Bible in age-appropriate ways so they can engage, understand and apply it to their lives.

What to expect

How long does the service run for?

Our services are usually from 75–90 minutes long.

What happens in the service?

We’ll sing songs about what God has done for us, we’ll read the Bible, someone will preach, and various people will pray. Twice a month we share Communion, where we eat bread and wine to remember Jesus’ death.

If you would like someone to pray for you, there will be people available to pray with you after the service.

What should I wear?

Be comfortable and come as you are. Some people dress up, but most wear casual clothes. We care about you, not about what you’re wearing.

Will I be welcome?

Yes! None of us at St Alban’s are perfect. No matter what’s going on in your life, you’re welcome to come. We hope to see you soon!

Eating together

Come and grab a coffee and some food after the service.

Once a month we have a community lunch either on-site, nearby, or at someone’s house. Feel free to come along and join us. You don’t need to bring anything!
